Our vision for our Kaleidoscope Glass Heart is of the great beauty that occurs when you shake up all the parts and see the world anew. Same parts, different outlooks, fresh realities. Using a menagerie of colors applied in random patterns, each Kaleidoscope Heart is one-of-a-kind. The color is hand-pulled and broken into toothpick size pieces called “threads”, then heated on the hot plate. We roll a gather of opal white glass over the threads and smooth them in before gathering a layering of clear glass over all of it. Then we begin shaping the heart.
