Paperweights

Our paperweights are prime examples of profound craftsmanship from our woman-owned studio in Michigan, USA. They are perfect for adding a unique, handmade touch to your collection or as an elegant keepsake for someone special.

Dichroic glass, which shifts between colors in the light, adds a sparkling effect to our paperweights. This technique dates back to 4th century Rome but was modernized by NASA in the 1950s and ’60s. They developed a process to vaporize metals with electron beams in a vacuum chamber, creating micro-thin layers that produce the beautiful shifting effect.

Our handmade paperweights are solid hot-sculpted glass with layers of color encased in clear glass. Each piece is signed and dated on the bottom, finished with a heart stamp.
