Workshop Policy

Workshop Policy

By registering for one of our workshops, you are agreeing to the following workshop policy.

Refunds

We love sharing our classes with you! but life happens and it doesn’t always work out. If you are unable to attend your workshop we require 48 hours in advance notice and you can reschedule another class or use the funds to purchase artwork in the gallery, but no refunds will be given.

If you have to cancel less than 48 hours in advance we are very sorry to be unable to reschedule or offer a refund. We suggest you give your experience to a friend, co-worker, or loved one who can attend, or even donate it to a stranger! Glassmaking is a very fun experience and you will make someone’s day by not letting the time go to waste.

Cancellations

To cancel, please call the studio at 248-745-3786 or send us an email with the time and date you were registered for.

Inclement Weather

The weather can be a bit iffy in the winter and we want you to be safe! If we cancel workshops due to bad weather or if we have many people cancel due to travel conditions, we will offer one make up date. If you are unable to make this date, then you can use your credit for up to one year from the original workshop date.

If workshops are cancelled for any reason, we will send you an email the morning of the workshop and post on social media.

Reschedule

You have up to one year from the date of your original workshop to use your credit.
To reschedule your workshop, please call the studio at 248-745-3786 or send us an email. Please let us know the date and time you would like to register for. You can find our workshop schedule here. If there are no workshops listed, please check back, sign up for our newsletter, or follow us on social media

If you reschedule for a workshop that costs more than the one you originally paid for, you will be required to pay the difference. If you reschedule for a workshop that is of lesser value than than the one you originally registered for, you will receive a partial refund.

Project Pickup

Since glass has to cool down slowly, you are not able to take your piece home the same day. The day of your workshop, our glass artists will let you know the earliest day and time you can come back to the studio to get your masterpieces!

There is generally somebody in the studio Monday – Friday from 10am – 3pm. If you will be coming in during the week, we ask that you please call ahead to let us know. Can’t make it until after 3pm? No problem, call us and we can have your piece waiting outside by the door. We are open to the public every Saturday from 10am – 3pm. No need to call ahead!

If the studio is far out of your way, we can always ship pieces to you at your cost for a flat rate of $12.

We hold on to workshop pieces for 30 days after the initial pick up date.

(Ex. If your workshop is held March 14, and the first available pickup date is March 17, you have until April 17 to pick them up.)

Unfortunately, we are limited on space and cannot store your projects indefinitely! After 30 days we cannot guarantee that we will still have your project. If for any reason you cannot pick it up within 30 days, please let us know! We want to make sure your piece gets to you so you can enjoy it.
