In 2013 the newest, hottest restaurant in Birmingham commissioned April to create 4 one-of-a-kind glass sculptures for the main dining area. In conjunction with head chef Paul Groz foods from each of the four seasons were selected. Spring – basil, fiddle heads, and ramps. Summer – clams. Fall – gourds and squash. Winter – ice wine.
Each piece is framed in a 48″ x 48″ square.
