April was commissioned to create a sculpture for the GM Supplier of the Year Award. On Tuesday, in a special ceremony at the DIA, April’s sculpture was presented by Dan Akerson GM CEO and Bob Sochia GM VP of Global Purchasing to Matt Simoncini Lear CEO and Ray Scott Lear President of Seating. Everyone at GM was thrilled at how the piece turned out, and Lear loved it! Matt was so excited that he told April they are going to have a special signing event for her when the piece goes on display in the lobby of their world headquarters in Southfield.
