visiting artists

april wagner is a firm believer in the idea that education is key to understanding and appreciating the arts. to promote this idea within her community, she has bi-yearly open studios with demonstrations and lectures. during the month of april every year, in celebration of michigan glass month, she invites world renowned artists to visit and demonstrate at the epiphany studio. often times these artists are at the forefront of their careers, and present pinnacle examples of technique and style within their medium. geared to promote education, these artists will sometimes give workshops, lecture to private groups such as school children, or the elderly, and may be represented in a show opening locally.
